Alorica internet requirements for work-from-home jobs
Alorica at Home requires a stable cable, DSL, or fiber connection and does not accept dial-up, satellite, or 4G/5G wireless service. Most programs require the computer to be connected by Ethernet cable, and Alorica does not compensate for downtime caused by your own internet connection.

What Alorica actually says
“If the technical issue is caused by your systems, internet connection, or phone line, however, there will be no compensation provided.”— Alorica Work at Home Addendum (aloricaathome.net) · source
Speed minimums vary by client program and are listed on each posting. Because Alorica does not pay for outages caused by your connection, a wired fiber line protects your paycheck as much as your eligibility.
Does your address qualify for Alorica?
Check in 30 seconds. If a wired connection is available, we'll set it up with Ethernet at your desk before your start date.
Check My AddressWhat passes for Alorica
A wired connection — fiber, cable, or DSL — with an Ethernet cable from your computer to the router. Fiber is the strongest fit for Alorica's requirements: upload speed matches download speed, latency stays low and consistent, and weather doesn't affect it.
If you're on satellite, a cellular hotspot, or 5G home internet, no speed test will get you past Alorica's rule — the connection type is what's being checked. The fix is a wired line, installed with the Ethernet connection in the room where you'll work.
Before your Alorica tech check
- Confirm a wired provider reaches your address (check above).
- Run Ethernet to your workspace — not just to the router's room.
- Turn off Wi-Fi and any VPN on the work computer.
- Run a speed test on the wired line and screenshot it.
